The Tennessee Respite Coalition (TRC) provides relief to families and caregivers from the extraordinary and intensive demands of providing ongoing care.
What is Respite?
Respite is temporary relief for caregivers and families. It is a service in which care is provided to individuals with disabilities and other special needs.
Caregivers are those who care for spouses, parents, children, siblings or other loved ones facing a wide array of special needs, including medical conditions and other diagnoses.
Respite is essential to maintaining quality of life for families and those in need.
Respite is the gift of time. It allows caregivers to maintain their own health and well-being so that they may continue their loving journey as a family.
